Hey, People! How are you tonight? I hope your evening is Fab.
In this post, I'm discussing L.A. Colors Loose Eye Shadow In Grape Jelly.
This eye shadow, just the packaging alone is so cute. I have not seen eye shadow packaged like this before. The closest that is similar is Loreal came out with a loose pigment liner in several different colors.
This

Alright, so the pigment is on the sides and bottom of the jug. There is a little opening at the bottom and to get the shadow out, you shake it out of the opening. I applied using the little brush it comes with but the brush is a little stiff and course so using a shadow brush may be better. I'm going to use my Wet N Wild brush I use for eye shadow.
This is the packaging.

Dry and Wet swatches. The dark is wet and the lighter is dry.

Swatches in a different light, wet and dry showing the shimmery glitters.

How this product did.
It's light dry and I did wear it dry the first day. Then I used it with another darker purple and it was just ok. I think it was the best wet. It's a deep, rich color wet.
My primer is Milani, and though I used that, there was a small area where it came off.

So, this is what my wear test was like.
First day-

The second day - Using another darker purple from my Color Mates palette
The purple on the side at the far end, middle color.

This pigment did not do as well with this color dry but wet it would be great.
So, the third day, I used just the loose shadow

On the fourth day, I used it wet.

So, I like it wet, when I use it that is how I will apply it and with my shadow brush. The shadow is very pretty and used wet will work with various other colors. If you don't like the way the shadow comes out or how light it is dry, you might not like this.
But, you might give it a try anyway, it might surprise you. There are more colors this comes in, one is a white or off white shimmer and another in a brownish color.
Check out The Dollar Store video, this eye shadow is in there.
I'm giving my approval because it did well with a few changes.
Thank you so very much for reading and I will see you in my next post.
