Undertone Is Better
Undertone Is Better
I saw this ad on YT and it asked "What is your skin tone?"

You should know your skin tone, that is important. But, knowing your undertone is even more important or you will be in the wrong makeup.
Knowing your undertone is necessary because foundations, eyeshadows, blush, highlighter, and color go by undertone.
If you don't know your undertone, you will be a neutral wearing a pink or yellow foundation.
And, it will stick out. When your foundation undertone is correct, your foundation will blend in and disappear and no one will know you are wearing it.
The difference in the undertones is big. You can see the undertones in the foundation clearly.
Loreal Pro-Matte a Neutral:

L.A. Colors a Warm(Yellow)

CG Smoothers a pink (Cool)

You can clearly see, the neutral and yellow foundation stand out, and the pink foundation blends in.
I took this ads quiz and not one time did it discuss knowing my undertone or if I already knew my undertone. They showed palettes that had a mix of shadows of warm and cool tones. What I really didn't like was, you didn't get a choice. If I tried this, they would send me what they wanted and not what I wanted. I personally would rather buy my own so I can pick what I want.
The above ad has a monthly fee. I didn't like that for what the offer was.
I decided against it. But, what caught my attention most was the lack of attention to skin undertone, it's so important.
That was the biggest factor for me. I appreciate what they are doing and many like the above. But, if they can't get the undertone mentioned in their quiz, then they don't know anything. They should stick to cosmetics that do not involve that.
Alright, Everyone, that is it for this discussion. I have many blogs and vlogs so stay tuned. I'm still working on some things and that will be coming up. I have so many products, and I have a review I'm really excited about. You will find out.
Have a great evening and a good day tomorrow and I will see you in my next post.
